YE MORDHEIM LEGENDS GAZETTE |
Bor's Journal Day 1 We had herd of a location of wyrdstone or gold and
started exploring the ruins to find it. We need money to
continue our search. Some undead had laid their cursed
hands on it first but I thought we could breakthrough
their defenses. They smell worse than they look
those cursed creatures. They had an ogre with them
he took out my first cousin Tor killing him
outright. I took a nasty cut from a creature of the
night. That accursed vampire will die by my hand.
One of my swordsmen put some hurting on that ogre as he
took my champion Volfgang. I knew these were not my
brothers slayers and thought it Day 2 We found some wyrdstone in the city today. We
we're going to a tavern were we might find information
and came across it. Unfortunately we also found the
undead we fought yesterday. My archers were quick
in taking the high ground today (learn from your mistakes
is what I say). They sunk an arrow into the ogre and took
out a zombie. Vilhelm and Tor II tried to defend
the wyrdstone from the ogre but Vilhelm was taken out but
not without wounding the beast. Tor II finished the
job I will find my brother's killer and avenge him. Day 3 We had entered what looked to be a deserted street. We had gone three feet when the undead attacked again. The archers took up the high ground to deffend our position. They put two arrows into the ogre who than turned and fled for his pittiful life. They did some damge to the zombies and ghouls befor we were once again embroiled in hand to hand. We fought valiantly I took out a ghoul as did Villhelm and Tor II. Volfgang was taken down as was the swordsman. Once again we had to make a hasty retreat or be overwelmed by the undead. On none of these days did I want to retreat but my men broke although today they held their ground better than before. It is amazing how hard three days in the City of the Damned will make you. Tonight we rest and take a couple days break. To night we feast and drink and hire more men. To Thror may your blood be avenged. |
